How to create a QR code

Enter your text or a complete link, including https:// for a website.
Choose black, red or blue. The preview updates as you type.
Select “Download PNG”, then test the saved image with your phone before sharing or printing it.

The input allows up to 1,000 characters, but the amount that fits depends on the text’s encoding. If it cannot be encoded, shorten it and try again.

Static, with no subscription expiry

A static QR code stores your text or link directly in the image. It does not use a DSOOU redirect, and DSOOU does not impose an expiry date. A linked website can still move or stop working.

Dynamic QR services use an intermediate address to manage destinations. This tool does not offer editable destinations or scan tracking. To encode a different link, create a new image.

Common questions

Why won’t my QR code scan?

Keep the white border around the code, avoid stretching or cropping it, and make it large enough for the intended viewing distance. Shorter text creates a less dense code. Test the final printed or displayed version, not just the preview.

Can I download an SVG or add a logo?

This tool exports PNG images only and does not add logos. Every export has a white background and a clear border to help scanning.

Does DSOOU receive my text or link?

No. The QR code is generated in your browser and your input is not uploaded to DSOOU. Anyone with the resulting image can read its content; scanning a website link may connect them to that website.
