How to generate a password

Choose a length between 8 and 128 characters.
Select uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers or symbols. Keep at least one type selected.
Click the password to copy it. Use “Generate again” for a new result.

Each result includes at least one character from every selected type. The default length is 18 characters.

Keep it unique

Use a different password for each account and save it in a password manager. A longer random password gives you more possible combinations, but no generator can guarantee the security of your account or device.

Common questions

Are my passwords uploaded or saved?

No. This tool uses your browser’s cryptographically secure random values and does not send generated passwords to DSOOU or save a password history. Copying a result places it on your device’s clipboard, which is managed by your device.

Can I generate a password without symbols?

Yes. Deselect symbols and leave the character types you need enabled. The password updates when you change the settings.

Can I recover a previous password?

No. Copy and save the result before generating another one or closing the page. DSOOU does not keep previous passwords.
